Simply Be Floral*

Have you ever found that dress that just seems made for you? I’m a huge fan of floral dresses but if I’m honest I stopped wearing them for a while. The prints just seemed the same and I wanted to switch up my style. Yet, now more and more prints are appealing to me with different flowers, colours and fabrics. When I saw this dress on Simply Be I was sold. Add the ruffles and I was ‘completely done in’ (said in my best Eliza Doolittle impression).

Dress: Simply Be*

Not only is this dress completely stunning aesthetically, it fits like a glove. The sleeves are the perfect length for me and the bottom of the dress touches me mid calf. Any tall girls know the problems of this but not with this dress. It has thigh splits up the side to add a little sommaaat sommaat if ya know what I mean. The small waist tie around the middle allows you to define the high part of your waist to create an empire line that looks pretty great (if I say so myself). To top it all off… IT HAS RUFFLES. YES RUFFLES. I was totally taken with the ruffle trend over a year ago which harks back to my Diana look.

It is a slightly more costly dress at £39 but boy is it worth it. I will be wearing this for so many events and even to work. The cross over top allows for modesty and is sewn so that you won’t go around flashing the nation. Believe me I’ve done that with many a cross over dress.

I added my oversized round specs because why not? I’m loving the vintage inspired style at the minute and wanting to add it to my wardrobe.

What do you think to this dress?
