The Aviator Trend

Disclaimer: By the time you’re reading this post I should have a little baby in the world! Therefore this post has been pre-written and I hope you can forgive me if any of the links require a little updating with stock levels.

The Aviator Jacket has become a huge trend this season. I instantly wanted one and headed to several sites looking for the perfect one. I’ve seen them ranging from about £45 to over £100 so was looking for something a little closer to £60 as the cheaper ones looked exactly what you’d expect – slightly cheap. This New Look jacket was a bit of a steal at £59.99 and I had the option of the classic black or this just a little bit different oatmeal. I ordered online as my local New Look seems to be lacking in stock most times and I’ve been coming out rather disappointed after countless trips to store.

Jacket: New Look  (now out of stock) similar here and curve option here
Maternity Jeans: Bump it Up at Yours Clothing
Chelsea Boots: Tesco F&F (old) similar here
Black Vest: Yours Clothing Sale

The jacket is a lovely fit (I’m wearing a 16 here) and the faux shear material inside keeps you nice and cosy as the temperature drops in these cooler months. I’ve paired this here with some classic black jeans and a black vest but feel it would look equally as stunning with a black bodycon maxi dress.

I’m starting to look forward to hunting out more Winter outfits as it is quite possibly one of my favourite seasons for fashion. With bobble hats and chunky oversized scarfs currently hitting our shops I am spoilt for choice.
What’s been your favourite seasonal item this year? Let me know!
