Smock my b**** up!

How have you all been? Welcome to November- which is of course, my due month! I’m not due till the end of November so my baby could keep us in suspense a little longer if he wished. Since starting my maternity leave I’ve been feeling much more myself and more rested. My days have been filled with blogging, obsessive cleaning and long walks with my pooch Oscar and I love it. I’ve packed my hospital bags and I’m feeling pretty much prepared for my little one’s arrival.

After posting this picture onto my insta stories and instagram feed, I received quite a few messages asking where others could purchase a dress such as this. Fortunately I LOVE to share and immediately went to post the details on my feed and on here. It took a little longer to get this post up as I wanted to get outside in the light for some images but with Autumn weather being a little unpredictable it’s taken longer than expected.

Black Lace up Ankle Boots in Wide Fit: Yours Clothing

I won’t say too much about this dress other than it’s perfect. It’s comfortable, affordable and generously oversized. I’m wearing a size 16 here and 36 weeks pregnant in the image so you get a feel for how much room there is.

These boots are a particular favourite of mine at the minute. I ordered them a little concerned that they may be just a bit too big in only being available in EEE fit. I’m wearing a chunky pair of black socks here which means they’re perfect fit and my feet are super warm-  so I guess it’s a win win? They’re lace up at the front but as you can see from the image have a convenient zip up the side allowing easy manoeuvring.

I’ve been pairing this outfit up with a simple black leather jacket, and throughout winter I’ll add some thick tights to the mix when the chill is out!
I’m now a little addicted to Smock dresses and really want to invest in more. If you know of any good ones please send the links my way.
