Save Vs. Splurge with Yours Clothing*

save vs splurge

When it comes to shopping there is always that question in your mind if you should splurge on the outfit of your dreams or compromise a little and come up with something economical. Usually my mind decides to play sensible and select something in the middle but when Yours Clothing asked me to create two evening looks it gave me an opportunity to explore two outfits for different costs. I’ve kept the budget at £50 for the save outfit and £100 for the splurge. So without further a-do I present to you my two picks:

Save:

save

Dress: Yours Clothing £26.00
Heels: Yours Clothing £19.00
Bracelet: Yours Clothing: £4.00

Total: £49.00

Firstly, the save outfit. Now when in doubt, you cannot beat an LBD. This gorgeous dress is only £26! I’ve paired it here with some simple black heels which could easily be swapped out for any pair most gals have in their cupboard. Add a little glam to the outfit with this £4 bracelet and you’ve got a winner.

Splurge:

splurge

Dress: Blue Vanilla Curve at Yours Clothing £36.00
Over the Knee Boots: Yours Clothing £49.99
Drop Earrings: Yours Clothing £8.00

Total: £96.99

If you are looking to spend a little more and really treat yourself then look no further. For more or less double the save cost you can get the above outfit. My favourite part being the over the knee boots. Yours Clothing have brought out some absolutely stunning boots that are wide fit- can we get an amen for us girls with bigger legs? I have to thank gorgeous Charl for bringing these to my attention- if you haven’t read her blog then click here for more inspiration.

Which outfit do you prefer?
