Who doesn’t love a good bargain? My friends used to joke that I could find all sorts of wonders in charity shops when they could find none. Rummaging through the endless hangers of clothing can be a daunting task and the truth is, the best person of all and the magpie able to find any shiny jewel is … dun dun dun….my Mum! She passed me this coat (a local £5 buy) knowing I was hunting for a long- and I mean long coat slightly oversized in brown. My black oversized coat has been a favourite of my wardrobe and I wanted to add to this particular collection. I loved it before I even realised what a treat it was. A Laura Ashley 37% wool, 23% alpaca, 21% nylon, 18% mohair, 1% other fiber coat made in Poland.
I feel this is a coat stylishly chic for the cooler days we’ve been blessed with in England.
For anyone looking for some comfy Jeggings I can highly recommend New Look. Not only are they stretch and comfortable but highly durable. I roll up the ends of them to change my look. Especially when I have wonderful shoes on.
I’ve always loved getting cosy and wrapping up in winter. It sounds daft but I really do love layering up and adding texture upon texture. It’s something I’ll miss a little in Summer (don’t judge me!) This New Look scarf is quite a few years old now but they have an equally beautiful one I’ve linked above. It’s the creams and warm tones that really add to the look.
I wore this for a outing for a Sunday lunch, all in all a rather simplistic casual look. But I simply had to tell you about the £5 bargain. It was super warm too!
