Culottes made a big impact in 2016 but I only picked up a pair recently from New Look. I’m not too sure why I’d hesitated in purchasing these perfect pantaloons as I felt both stylish and sassy in these elegant trousers. On a lovely rainy Saturday afternoon they had their first outing strolling along the beautiful streets of Hull. Yes Hull (I’m so proud of my home city!) I had much to celebrate, as I was selected as one of the five bloggers for Yours Clothing and have won a 12 month contract with them! Yahoo! Thank you so much to all the folks out there who helped me and if you didn’t read my entry… where have you been? Catch up here.
All of these lovely photographs are courtesy of Em and I thank her for catching my good side (thank you dearly oh wise master).
I am absolutely in love with this burnt orange colour and feel it adds some much needed funkiness (is that a word?) to this outfit. I picked up this Matalan jumper in the sale for around £5, and it’s quickly become one of my go to pieces for a rainy day.
If you read my blog regularly, you’ll spot this double buckled belt from a post in Rome I did a while back and I’m pleased to see it’s still in stores! I’m a big fan of reusing key pieces as opposed to buying 101 belts and not knowing which to pick in a morning. What’s great about this belt is that you can even choose between a thick or thin waist band (hurrah for choice!) I love to add it to any simple outfits to give them a little jazzing.
Thanks all for now my lovelies, I’ll keep you posted on updates with Yours. But until then, ciao for now x
